From the NAYIR guides

Prepare your training setting.
Step by step.

Computer, display, lighting and session time. A practical list before you begin.

Computer and display

Prepare a computer or laptop with physical arrow keys, a ruler to set the screen scale and a measuring tape for the eye-to-screen distance. Follow the device preparation steps provided by your follow-up team before the first session.

Space and lighting

Choose a space you can use consistently and reduce screen reflections and interruptions. Do not change a prepared device’s settings on your own; ask what to do if the screen or location changes.

Time and breaks

Allow time for the whole session. The initial plan has 60 active minutes and 12 scheduled break minutes in one continuous session. Avoid starting when you will need to leave early; discuss scheduling with your care team.

Glasses and task understanding

Follow the prescribed optical correction and eye instructions. Learn the task and response method before beginning. If instructions are unclear or a technical problem occurs, ask for help rather than guessing the procedure.
